One trade, four kinds of work
Drywall work falls into a few distinct jobs, and each one rewards a different skill. New walls and ceilings need clean, tight hanging. Hung board needs several careful coats before it is paint-ready. Damage from impacts, leaks and settling needs surgical repair that blends. And when water gets in, wet board has to be removed and rebuilt, not painted over.
We group them under one page because they are one craft. The finisher who understands how a joint was hung fixes failures faster, and the crew that rebuilds after a leak already knows how texture is matched. In Lee County, where block walls, humidity and storm damage shape the work, that continuity matters.
Browse the services below for what each job involves, and call us if you are not sure which one you need. A photo and a short description are often enough to point you in the right direction.

We want to be the crew you call again, so we explain what we are doing, quote clearly and finish properly. If you speak Spanish, we do too.

Questions about drywall work
What is the difference between hanging, finishing and texturing?
Hanging is fastening the drywall sheets to the framing. Finishing is taping the seams and covering them and the screw heads with compound in several coats, then sanding. Texture is the surface pattern, such as knockdown, orange peel or smooth, applied over the finished wall. They are separate steps and we do all three, which is the point of our logo: hang, finish, texture.
Do you handle small drywall repairs or only big jobs?
Both. Small repairs get the same care as new rooms because they are the work homeowners see up close every day. See our drywall repair page for what a proper patch involves.
What kinds of drywall do you work with?
Standard half-inch board for most walls, five-eighths for ceilings and fire-rated areas, moisture-resistant board in damp rooms and tile-rated backer behind showers. The plans and the building code decide what each room needs.
Why is Florida drywall work different?
Humidity slows compound and paint drying, concrete block walls need furring before board goes up, and storm and AC leaks put water damage on the list more often than in drier states. A crew used to those conditions plans around them.
Do you work with builders and general contractors?
Yes. We coordinate hang and finish schedules with builders and with homeowners running their own projects, and we can work to plans and inspection schedules.
